Random things!

Today was a GTN day.....GYM TANNING NAILS!. Oh and Bojangles!
Make up was a no go today, Although even though I did not wear any make up I
made sure I still washed my face.
When I don't wear make up I always seem to touch my face all the time and it tends to get very oily.

I have decided on a few things about skin,
1. No matter how many times you wash your face....you are still gonna have those annoying break outs.
2. Citrus fruits such as oranges are great for your skin!
3. Fast food doesn't make you break out...how much fast food you eat will!.
4. When working out or doing sports, it is better to not wear make up, sweat comes out of the pores and the make up will clog them.

Mark Face washes are some of my favorites! I have found that they keep my skin smooth and help keep those annoying break outs down to a minimum.
The Face wash I have been using a lot is the "Help Wanted; anti acne exfoliating cleanser"

Fake Bake!

Yes tanning beds, I don't think that there can be a beauty blog without something about tanning! I have just recently become a tanner and I am hooked!. The gym that I attend, Planet Fitness, includes unlimited tanning to black card members. The beds are "Ergoline flair 32/1 super power" Some say they do not find the beds to be very powerful but I don't have that same complaint. I am German and Irish so My skin is naturally VERY fair and I burn very easily. Since using these beds I have yet to burn, I get an all over color and I love that the beds have fans. My real only complaint is that even though there is a button for music, the beds do not play music, So I normally just put my phone on pandora. :)

When I first started out tanning I went to a tanning salon that had stand up beds, I did enjoy those but even after going 3 days in a row I barely had any color...and this is supposed to be one of the more higher end salons..

With all of the safety risks involved in tanning, there are precautions that can be taken, such as;

*Drinking plenty of water.(Keeping the body hydrated is a key thing!)
*Using indoor Tanning Lotion. (also keeping your skin moisturized daily!)
*EYE COVERS!! (The most IMPORTANT of them all!)
I wear pods eye covers, they are very convenient , they come in a "pod" like case that hooks right onto your key chain! I think I paid like $4 or $5 on mine.

Always a fresh scent!

This Ed Hardy perfume has got to be one of my all time FAVORITE perfumes! it has a fruity-ish smell but is not a BAM in your face fruit. The scent last for a very long time which is a great thing when your constantly moving at work or school. Whenever I would wear this perfume and walk past someone I always got complimented on how great I smelt! Normally this perfume is $75 at Ulta.

I have an addiction to buying perfume's and body spray's. Bath and body works always gets me with all their amazing deals like buy 3 get 3.
What are some of your favorite perfumes or scents?? :)

Facial Scrubs!

I have always struggled with trying to keep my acne under control. Unfortunately though we can't help when our hormones get all out of wack and decide to attack our faces, but we can try to help as much as possible! Normally when I find a face wash that really works I tend to stick to it...but I always wind up finding another to try!. Here are some of the ones that I have tried.

Mark. Help Wanted anti-acne exfoliating cleanser.
This is my most recent facial scrub that I have tried. there is a very light scent that is very refreshing. The scrub is not too harsh so I have found that my face isn't so obnoxiously red when I am done washing it. Although this is a scrub it does not get down into getting bad blackheads out, so If you are just looking to get the dead skin off your face for that super smooth feeling this is a great choice!.
$10
This can be found on my Mark. eBoutique

This scrub is one that also comes in those nifty individual packets that you can find in most facial cleansing aisles for about $2. I randomly like to buy these scrubs just to change up my routine and add a refreshing feel to my skin. I was very happy when I found a few of these scrubs in my stocking this past Christmas! :) I Love all of the different scents, textures, and types of scrubs and masks!

St. Ives is such a well known name for being around for such a long time! I absolutely love their products, the scrubs are probably some of the best I have ever used. If you have very sensitive skin though this may be too rough because it does make my face very red after using. I have even used this as a body scrub and it works wonders!.

Wet n wild fast dry!

This nailpolish is one that I got for Christmas! The color is "how I met your magenta" there is a slight sparkle but not too much. This nailpolish did dry very quickly unfortunately it does not set shiny. I did 2 coats and since the tips if my nails are naturally very white, you can still slightly see my nail through the polish. I do really like this nail polish though!
